The Sela 17 Sapele Solid Kalimba is a premium instrument made from sapele wood. With its curved body and solid construction, it not only looks beautiful but also sounds incredible. The medium brown color and attractive grain remind of mahogany, giving it a richness in sound.
This kalimba features 17 tones in the C-major scale, ranging from C4 to E6. Its sensitive and clear tonal quality allows beginners to easily create wonderful melodies, whether composing their own pieces or playing along with songs written in C major.
Included in the package is a high-quality carrying case that protects the kalimba during transport and storage. Also included are a microfiber cloth for cleaning and a tuning hammer, necessary for tuning the instrument. You can check the pitch using either a smartphone tuner app or a clip-on tuner for guitars.
