The LTD B-205DX is a 5-string bass that delivers far more than anyone would expect, given its modest price. With a bolt-on construction at a 34” scale, it features a poplar body topped with an outstanding burled poplar veneer, creating a visually striking aesthetic with its natural knots and figured grain. The instrument is comfortable to play, sporting a smooth roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and 24 extra-jumbo frets.
The B-205DX comes equipped with black hardware and LTD tuners for stable tuning performance. The LTD DB-5 fixed bridge paired with excellent ESP SB-5 bridge and neck pickups offers a versatile sound, making it suitable for various musical genres. Volume, balance, and bass/treble EQ controls are readily accessible, allowing quick adjustments during rehearsals and performances.
