The Ibanez Talman series combines traditional respect with rebellious design, aimed at electric guitarists looking to explore acoustic facets. With its striking double cutaway body, this hybrid acoustic guitar stands out distinctly from classic shapes.
The neck is made of okoume and is paired with a purpleheart fretboard, offering high playing comfort and a warm, characterful tone both visually and sonically. The poplar burl art grain top crafted from basswood provides a unique look, while the sapele back and sides deliver a full-bodied, warm midrange and brilliant highs.
The Ibanez under-saddle pickup accurately transmits the natural acoustic sound and is supported by the AEQ-2T preamp, which flexibly adjusts bass and treble frequencies and features an integrated tuner that can also be used without a cable. The design is completed by a purpleheart bridge that enables direct, warm sound transmission.
