The Hohner Marine Band 1896 harmonica is the true icon of blues music, remaining virtually unchanged since its patent in 1896. This original blues harmonica perfectly embodies the deep, authentic blues tone, making it the ideal choice for any musician looking to capture the genre's essence.
The 1896 is not just an instrument; it is part of the heritage of blues music. Originally designed for European folk music, it quickly became a defining sound of American blues. In the early 20th century, nearly every harmonica player was playing this model.
