The Fender Malibu Player acoustic guitar draws inspiration from the iconic designs of Fender electric guitars, embodying the West Coast spirit of adventure and freedom. This compact parlor-sized guitar is an excellent choice for musicians looking to explore their creativity and disrupt the status quo.
Crafted with an X-braced solid spruce top and sapele back and sides, the Malibu Player produces a sweet, articulate voice perfect for reaching new chords and melodies. Its nato neck features an easy-to-play slim "C"-shaped profile, a short 24" scale length, and a tilt-back 6-in-line headstock that gives it a distinct appearance derived from Fender's electric guitar DNA.
Notable details include vintage-style tuning machines for smooth tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut, and the modern Fishman® Flex electronics that allow for faithful reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when connected to an amp or recording device.
Instruments from the California Series, like the Malibu Player, offer the perfect balance of playability, superior sound, and standout style that makes them ideal for musicians who aspire to play something different.
