The EVH Wolfgang® WG Standard Exotic showcases the style and massive sound that Eddie Van Halen is famous for. With all-new exotic wood options, it's perfect for players with distinguished taste.
The Wolfgang WG Standard features many blazing features as its more expensive counterparts, with a basswood body and a special "comfort cut" forearm contour for maximum playing ease, complemented by an attractive masked-off natural body binding and a bold ziricote top.
The one-piece bolt-on baked maple neck, reinforced with graphite, withstands temperature and humidity changes, while a conveniently located spoke wheel at the base allows for quick and painless truss rod adjustments. Designed for comfortable playability and speed, the WG Standard boasts an oiled neck back finish, a 12"-16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets, and black dot inlays.
Dual direct mount EVH® Wolfgang humbucking pickups enhance vibration transfer, providing sustain for days. Two domed control knobs are dialed to Van Halen's specifications—smooth-feeling 500k pots make it easy to find a unique sound while maintaining the crisp highs of the Wolfgang pickups. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose® Special bridge and R2 locking nut ensure the instrument remains in tune through the deepest whammy dives.
Outfitted for peak performance and comfort, the Wolfgang WG Standard Exotic Ziricote features a black headstock and black chrome hardware.
