The EVH® 5150III® 50W 6L6 212 Combo delivers a powerful tone that provides arena-sized sound in a compact package powered by Celestion® speakers for easy transport.
This redesigned amp features versatile, all-new independent dual-concentric controls that allow for gain and volume matching. With 50 watts of power, it boasts three channels aiming to cater to any playing style—clear cleans, raw crunch, or searing leads.
Channel one offers pristine clean tones, while channel two engages overdrive and heavy gain similar to the EVH 5150III 100S, and channel three delivers liquid-like distortion. Both channel one and two have dual concentric gain/volume controls with a shared EQ (low, mid, high), while channel three has its own gain, volume, and EQ (low, mid, high) settings. All three channels come with global presence, resonance, and reverb controls.
Equipped with two 12" custom-designed EVH Celestion speakers, this combo amp enhances your sound and style. It also features seven JJ ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes, two JJ 6L6 power tubes, and a front-panel adjustable power output that ranges from 50 watts down to one watt.
Additional features include a single input, a rear-panel selectable output impedance (4, 8, or 16 ohms) with a pair of parallel outputs, rear-panel MIDI input and preamp output, a rear-panel effects loop and headphone jack (which mutes the power amp), along with a four-button footswitch for controlling all three channels and reverb for easy onstage switching.
The cabinet is crafted from birch with a special internal baffling system for a tight and enhanced bass response. Wrapped in stylish Black or Ivory vinyl, the EVH 5150III 50W 6L6 212 Combo is completed with vintage-style chicken knobs, a red LED jewel indicator, molded black plastic top handle, and pop-out casters. A high-quality fitted cover is available as an EVH Accessory.
