The Daddario EPS220-5 ProSteels bass guitar strings deliver the brightest tones available. Crafted with a unique highly magnetic alloy, ProSteels offer a super-bright tone with enhanced presence. The high carbon steel core and stainless steel wrap wire contribute to an enriched interaction with magnetic pickups, producing a palette of harmonically rich highs combined with pronounced tight lows, fulfilling the demand for the coveted "piano tone" that steel players seek.
These Super Light 40-125 strings are designed for 5-string basses, providing a bright attack and very light tension that makes them easier to play. ProSteels are ideal for both articulate fingering and aggressive picking, providing the extra edge and punch needed to cut through any mix.
