D'Addario EPS160 ProSteels bass guitar strings are the pinnacle of D’Addario’s bright bass guitar string offerings. The unique highly magnetic alloy in ProSteels delivers a super-bright tone, providing enhanced presence and attack. With a high carbon steel core and stainless steel wrap, these strings create harmonically rich tones, combining penetrating highs with pronounced, tight lows. The 50-105 Medium set features higher tension for increased low-end response and output. ProSteels are D'Addario's brightest and most magnetic bass strings, perfect for both articulate fingerstyle playing and aggressive picking, giving you the punch and edge needed to cut through the mix.
