The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV Satin Black is a sleek bass guitar crafted from an alder body, reminiscent of the original Charvel San Dimas models from the late '70s. The deeper cutaway allows adventurous bassists effortless upper-register access.
The super-thin bolt-on caramelized maple neck is designed for fast playing and features graphite reinforcement with a heel-mount truss rod wheel for easy adjustments. The 12"-16" compound radius gradually flattens, complemented by 20 jumbo frets and Luminlay® side dots for smooth playability.
This bass guitar is equipped with powerful DiMarzio® pickups - a Model J™ at the bridge for a well-rounded punch and a Model P® in the middle for warm, fat tones. Versatile electronics include a three-band active EQ, a pickup blend control, and a master volume with a push/pull selector that bypasses the EQ's active circuit if the battery runs out.
